I've offered sharpening and repair services for many years now along with making custom knives. Over the last three years, I've discovered the interest for tool sharpening and maintenance has really grown. The interest has grown so much in fact that it's clear to me that there is a need for a dedicated effort to meet that need.

I am excited to announce the formation of Susquehanna Sharpening Company! It's focus will be on the sharpening, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of edged tools. Some of the services included will be restoration, new handles or hardware, leather work, and total makeovers.

 

What sets this apart from other companies that just sharpen, I have the benefit of years of bladesmithing experience that no other has. Your tools won't be simply set on a grinder indiscriminately, grinding away your prized possession to dust. Each piece is assessed and carefully taken care of with the utmost respect.

What does this mean for my knife making? Well, it means that I will only be taking the odd commission as time allows. I will maintain this website for a while but most of my time and attention will be on growing the sharpening business.
